World’s first rosé wine event is coming to New York
A few weeks ago, I blogged about my ardor for rosé and asked if anyone knew about tasting events.
Well guess what? The Big Apple is about to become the Big Grape in a unique wine and food event. It’s called La Nuit En Rosé and it’s the brainchild of wine entrepreneur Pierrick Bouquet.
It takes place on June 13 and 14 with two-four hours sessions (afternoon and evening) each day. It’s not just a single event but four opportunities to choose from for food and wine tastings while cruising Manhattan’s Hudson River on board the Hornblower Hybrid, moored at Pier 40.
The cruise/event features 85 rosés from 58 wineries around the world including the US, France, Chile, Spain and many other countries. To accompany the wine, there is food from some outstanding NYC eateries, music and the views of the city.
You can learn more about it here.
I will be there on Saturday June 14th at the 7:00 to 11:00 PM session. If you decide to go, stop by and say hi.
Frankly, they had me at the words rosé and food.
It’s good to be a blogger.
