Summer is upon us and we’re taking a deep dive into refreshing whisky & beer cocktails.

Auchentoshan (pronounced AWK–EN–TOSH– EN) Brand Ambassador Robin Nance teamed up with Master Cicerone Pat Fahey to create the following easy to make at home cocktail.

American Porter features roast flavors of bittersweet dark chocolate and espresso. In Beer & Loathing, the dark fruit and chocolate tones of Three Wood meet with the spice of Ancho Reyes and the roast of American Porter to create the impression of a Mexican chili chocolate bar.

So, kick back, make a drink and toast summer with Auchentoshan & Ale.

Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Auchentoshan Three Wood Single Malt Scotch Whisky
0.5 oz. Ancho Reyes chili liqueur
4.0 oz. American Porter ale

Directions:
Slowly shake all ingredients with ice and strain into rocks glass. Add a large cube.
