There's a very old ingredient used in apple pies to enhance the flavor called boiled cider. No one seems to carry it except a few online stores. Once I tasted it, I thought why not use it in a cocktail for the fall. The resulting recipe is absolutely delicious, and is sure to be your new favorite cocktail.

Boiled Cider Cocktail

1 1/2 oz. Bourbon

1/2 oz. Boiled cider

1/4 oz. simple syrup

1/2 oz. Fresh lemon juice

Place ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
