Four Roses Bourbon Essential Facts

  • All 10 of the distillery’s bourbon recipes (made from five different strains of yeast and two different mashbills) are blended to create Four Roses Yellow Label.
  • The distillery uses single-story barrel warehouses, which helps minimize temperature differences during the aging process.
  • Though it was the top-selling bourbon in the US in the decades after Prohibition, Four Roses Bourbon was only available in Europe and Japan from the late 1950s until 2002. (American bottlings during the period were a blended whiskey, not a bourbon.)
