For years, this cocktail has been popular with with celebrities such as W.C. Fields, who according to sources, drank at least two martinis every day. Queen Elizabeth II apparently likes her martini with a lemon, Madonna claims to love a Pomegranate Martini and has that in common with Oprah, who is a fan of martinis that are a little sweeter, citing lemon drops or pomegranate martinis as her preferred cocktails. As for James Bond, he prefers them shaken ~ not stirred!
