DTLA Oyster Festival at Grand Central Market

The food’s coming! The food is coming! Look out for these five food festivals coming this weekend and next in October. First we have the annual Oyster Festival at Grand Central Market centered around Oyster Gourmet at the Grand Central Market in Downtown Los Angeles.

The two-day festival runs October 14 and 15. Not only can you try different varieties of oysters at the funky steampunk-esque stand, you can try other oyster specials around the marketing including a po boy pizza at Olio, fried curry oysters at Prawn (the renamed Bombo from Chef Mark Peel) and baked oysters from Horse Thief BBQ.

There’s also a screening of The Oyster Farmers Saturday night at 8 p.m.
