As summer winds down and the first day of fall is coming up on September 22nd, it’s time to consider a new choice of cocktails. Cruzan offers a variety of rum cocktail options with some favorite fall flavors, including maple, apple, and cinnamon in the Cruzan Maple Leaf, or a Hot Toddy to warm up with as the temperatures cools down.

Cruzan® Maple Leaf
INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 parts Cruzan® Estate Diamond® Dark Rum
  • 1/2 part Maple Syrup
  • 4 dashes Bitters
  • 2 dashes Apple Bitters
  • Cinnamon, Ground

METHOD:
Stir ingredients over ice and pour in a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Scrape fresh cinnamon on top as a garnish.

Cruzan® Hot Toddy
INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 part Cruzan® Aged Dark Rum
  • 1 tbsp spoon honey or sugar
  • 1 large lemon peel

METHOD:

Prepare a mug by rinsing it with boiling water and pouring the water out. Add the sugar or honey and the lemon peel and pour in an ounce of hot water and stir until the sweetener has dissolved. Add Cruzan® Aged Dark Rum and top off with more boiling water.
