If you’re a bourbon fan, then this is a message for you. Jim Beam is planning on releasing their first ever hand-crafted, Kentucky straight single-barrel bourbon, and they want your help.

From July 16th to August 17th, the company will be accepting applications for their “Single Barrel, Single Statement” contest, where avid Jim Beam drinkers from around the nation can submit a single statement about what bourbon means to them, along with the story behind their “words of wisdom,” for a chance to win some pretty awesome prizes.

If you’re one of the lucky six 1st prize winners, your name and “single statement” will appear on the back label of selected single-barrel bottles as well as on a barrelhead signed by 7th generation master distiller, Fred Noe. If that doesn’t entice you, enter for the Grand prize—two people will collect everything that comes with 1st prize plus a private bourbon tasting for the winner, some friends, and Fred Noe himself right in your hometown.

Sounds like a dream come true, right? Well we suggest you get cracking—considering less than one percent of all bourbon barrels are chosen for Jim Beam’s single-barrel brand, this is one special opportunity we know you’ll want to get your hands on. Enter here and remember to scout the Jim Beam social channels on September 15th to see if you’re one of the champion contestants.
