Libation Lust? Our Guide To Valentine's Day Cocktails
Valentine's Day is all about doing something different with your lover to show them they're special. Being that Valentine's Day falls on a Friday this year, DON'T hit the town as you would on a typical Friday night. Light some candles, scatter some rose petals and woo your significant other with these tantalizing cocktails.


Cruzan Hot Velvet
1oz Cruzan Velvet Cinn Horchata with Rum
1oz C ruzan Estate Diamond® Dark Rum
2oz Hot Chocolate (rich sweetened cocoa recommended)
1 pinch Chili Powder
1 tiny pinch Salt
Method: Combine all ingredients in a sauce pot and whisk briskly until warm. (Alternate use: Use an espresso machine steam wand to bring to temp). Garnish with grated cinnamon.

Cruzan Rose Kiss
2oz Cruzan Aged Light Rum
1/2oz Hibiscus Liqueur
1oz Fresh Lime Juice
3 Drops Rose Water
Combine all ingredients in a shaker, shake for 15 seconds. Pour over fresh ice in a Collins glass. Top with soda water.

Cruzan Cinngle Lady
1 1/2oz Cruzan Black Strap Rum
1oz Cruzan Velvet Cinn Horchata with Rum
1/2oz Coco Lopez Cream of Coconut


Carpe Dia
1oz of Milagro AÑEJO
¾oz Agave Nectar
1oz Fresh Lime Juice
5 Blackberries
2 Sage Leaves
Muddle fruit and herbs in a Boston shaker glass. Add other ingredients and shake vigorously with ice. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice and garnish cocktail with a blackberry and sage sprig.

The 'Herbal Love' — a seductive mix of herbs and spices
2 oz Milagro Silver
3/4 oz lime juice
1/2 oz oleo saccharum
1/4 oz yuzu
1 dash eucalyptus tincture
2 dashes of cardamom bitters
4 basil leaves and 4 lemon verbena leaves
Garnished with a basil blossom.


Edinburgh Rose
1 oz Hendrick’s Gin (Note: Hendrick’s is infused with rose petals, adding another rose-centric layer to this one!)
4-6 fresh raspberries
1 oz lychee juice
½ oz organic raspberry and rose cordial
Top with champagne
Shake it all with LOVE and double strain into a flute. Top with champagne. Garnish with a raspberry.


The Birds and the Bees
1oz Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur
.5oz Stoli Sticki (honey flavored vodka)
2oz plain almond milk
.5oz fresh lemon juice
.5oz fresh, organic egg whites
.25oz honey syrup (1:1 for honey:water)
1 bar spoon rose water
Combine all ingredients in a mixing tin and dry shake to emulsify the egg whites. Add ice and hard shake until frothy and chilled. Fine strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass and garnish with a single, edible rose petal.


Rosé et Reims
2 oz. Lillet Rosé

4 oz. Perrier Jouët Champagne
Brut Grapefruit bitters
Orange twist
Served in a Champagne flute. First, add four dashes of grapefruit bitters to Champagne flute. Add Lillet Rosé, top with Champagne. Garnish with long orange twist.

Glenfiddich Ruby Bean
2 oz Glenfiddich 12 Year Old
2 oz Lillet Rouge
1 oz Licor 43
2 oz orange juice
Combine ingredients and shake well. Strain over fresh ice in an Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with a blood orange half-moon and rose bud.
