SMASHing Good Drink!
The Silk Road
1. 4 slivers of pear
2. 5 shiso leaves
3. .50 oz simple syrup
4. 6 drops of Rooibos Chai Tincture
5. 2.0 oz of brandy (Cognac)
Muddle the pears, then lightly tear and muddle the Shiso leaves. Add remaining ingredients and shake with ice to chill and dilute. Fine strain into a brandy snifter and top with crushed ice.
Garnish with a pear that has been cut into a rectangle and wrap in a trimmed shiso leaf.
