If you're anything like me, you swear that you're an antisocial zombie without your multiple daily cups of coffee. Often times, this leaves you in a position in which you forget how to partake in human interaction until you slowly start to become awake again. If you're a real coffee fan, you'll know that National Coffee Day is right around the corner on Saturday, September 29th. However, because it's on a Saturday (aka the unofficial official day for getting drunk BEFORE Sunday brunch), you'll want to check out the following boozy coffee drinks and brands... or at least attempt to make them yourself at home without burning your kitchen down. Let's get started.

Belated Espresso (Available at Underdog and created by Conor Myers)

Ingredients for the 'Belated Espresso' include:
A singular shot of Espresso
½ oz. of Demerara
½ oz. of Cynar
1 ½ oz. of Powers Gold Label
2 Lemon Peels

In order for the 'Belated Espresso' to be made, here's how it's done:

Method: Shaken, Double Strained
Glass: Coupe
Garnish: Lemon Oils

Ingredients for the 'Dead Witch' include:
1 dash of black walnut bitter
1 dash of tonka bean tincture
½ tsp of cream banana
¼ oz of coconut milk
2 oz of Moroccan Blend Coffee Cold Brew
½ oz of Pierre Ferrand Liqueur
1 ½ oz of Aylesbury Duck vodka

In order for the 'Dead Witch' to be made, here's how it's done:

Method: Shaken
Glassware: Coupe
Garnish: Coffee Beans

Espresso Martini (Available at ACME, Tijuana Picnic, The Happiest Hour, and Slowly Shirley)

Ingredients for the 'Espresso Martini' include:

¼ oz of demerara syrup
¾ oz of Galliano Ristretto
1 oz of cold brew
1 ½ oz of vodka

In order for the 'Espresso Martini' to be made, here's how it's done:

Method: Shake and strain
Glassware: Martini

IMO (Available at BAR GOTO)

Ingredients for the 'IMO' include:

2 tablespoons of Mr. Black CoffeeLiqueur
1 ½ oz. of Sochu
¾ oz. of Del Maguey Crema Mezcal

In order for the 'IMO' to be made, here's how it's done:

Glassware: Medium Coupe
Garnish: Poppy seeds

NOUVEAU ESPRESSO (Available at Dante)

Ingredients for the 'NOUVEAU ESPRESSO' include:

1 ½ oz. of Grey Goose
¼ oz. of J. Rieger Caffe Amaro
¼ oz. of Giffard banana liqueur
¼ oz. of Kalani coconut liqueur
¼ oz. of Marie Brizard white crème de cacao
¼ oz. of simple syrup
1 ½ oz. of espresso coffee
A healthy pinch of cayenne pepper

In order for the 'NOUVEAU ESPRESSO' to be made, here's how it's done:

Method: Shake hard & fine strain
Glassware: Medium Coupe
Garnish: Poppy seeds

Sanshi Slip (Available at Westlight at The William Vale)

Ingredients for the 'Sanshi Slip' include:

2 oz. of The Famous Grouse Blended Scotch Whisky
½ oz. of Giffard Banana Liqueur
1 oz. of Brooklyn Roasting Company Cold Brew
1 ½ oz. of "Coco Mix" (1 oz Caokoh Coconut Milk + 0.5 oz simple syrup)

In order for the 'Sanshi Slip' to be made, here's how it's done:

Method: Combine all ingredients in a tin with ice and whip cream, top with crushed ice
Glassware: Highball
Garnish: Grated cinnamon

S&P Sazerac (Available at Saxon & Parole)

¼ oz. of Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur
2 ¼ oz. of Torres 15
¼ oz. of AMARETTO
2 dashes of Frangelico
2 dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters
2 dashes of Absinth

In order for the 'S&P Sazerac' to be made, here's how it's done:

Method: Stir and strain into a frozen rocks glass
Glass: Crystal Rocks
Glassware: Biscotti

½ oz. of Giffard Banane Du Bresil
1 oz. of oat milk
2 dashes of Scrappy's Chocolate Bitters
