Pumpkin PieW ho doesn’t love pumpkin? I know there seems to be a movement against the earlier and earlier release of pumpkin flavored EVERYTHING, but don’t let that distract you from the fact that pumpkin is delicious and when done right is worth it. This week we’re trying something a little different. Over the past few weeks we’ve been sampling several saké brands and it’s one area of mixology I’ll admit I tend to neglect. So if you’ve never tried it yourself, saké is vegan, gluten free, kosher, and organic so they make for some amazingly health conscious cocktails. With halloween out of the way all of the attention is now on Thanksgiving so while you’re savoring grandma’s pumpkin pie make sure to try your crazy uncle’s pumpkin pie cocktail below!

“Oh My” Pumpkin Pie

  • 3 oz G Joy Saké
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin pie filling
  • 3/4 cup egg nog
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • Whipped cream for garnish

Combine in shaker with ice; serve over ice and top with whipped cream
