Trying to recover from Memorial Day Weekend and going back to work? Yes me too! I do not want to be in reality -I can tell you that right now!  The only thing that is keeping me going is the fact that it is only a 4-day week and this bloody mary.  Yes, I am still hung over from this weekend.  I know I am so lame and can’t hang like I once could (yes this is true even though I do make cocktails every day).  So, to remedy this situation I needed some Tuesday relief which included this tasty bloody mary.  Bloody mary’s really do it for me when I am slightly under the weather from drinking.  I love this bloody mary because the artichokes have a tangy yet mild flavor that adds flavor to your standard bloody mary. 

Recipe: Roasted Jalapeno and Artichoke Bloody Mary

Ingredients

1 roasted jalapeno pepper

¼ teaspoon of salt

1/8 cup of balsamic vinegar

1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

3 ounces of vodka

8 ounces of V8 Juice

5 artichoke hearts

1 teaspoon horseradish

       1 cup of ice

Garnish: 2 mini artichokes

Instructions:

In a blender combine all ingredients except the ice and garnishes

       Blend mixture until all ingredients have been combined

       Fill two glasses with ice cubes and pour mixture over ice

       Garnish: 2 mini artichokes

Yields: 2 servings
