Bloody Marys to start
One Sunday, I headed over to Studio City to meet up with friends at The Bellwether. We were doing a birthday brunch so we celebrated by getting Bloody Marys to start. The Bellwether’s bloodies are garnished with sliders.
One of my favorite pastries is the guava one from Porto’s. I was expecting something similar and I wasn’t disappointed. We probably should have gotten two though as this disappeared quickly into four mouths.
Although I didn’t think the chilaquiles were spicy, my non-spicy friend said they were. I’d probably ask for my crema or cheese if you find them spicy as well.
I somehow managed to split the burger into four even pieces without adding finger prints to the bun. This cheese-tastic burger satisfied the burger craving.

To supplement our meal, we also got a side of sausage. I felt this was a side that was good for one or two people. Splitting it into four pieces just gave us a taste of the yummy sausage. We wanted more.

We also got a side of bacon. It worked out that we each got a strip. I loved the cauliflower (shown next to the bacon) with the fish sauce. So good!
For “dessert,” we had French toast. This was much denser than typical French toast. Very filling.
We had so much fun at The Bellwether and loved our relaxing brunch with the cool staff. I also liked the fact parking was free!
