Jameson brand ambassador Killian Lee suggests using Jameson Black Barrel whiskey in this version of an Old Fashioned. The whiskey mingles with two different kinds of bitters and a little Bénédictine liqueur to amplify its malty sweetness, making it a worthy twist on the classic.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Jameson Black Barrel whiskey

  • 3/4 oz Bénédictine liqueur

  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters

  • 2 dashes Orange bitters

  • Garnish: Orange slice

Steps

  1. Combine all the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice, and stir until cold.

  2. Strain into a rocks glass over ice.

  3. Garnish with an orange slice.
