Ingredients

  • 2 ounces aged Barbados rum (such as Mount Gay)

  • 1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed

  • 1 ounce rich simple syrup

  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

  • Garnish: lime wheel

  • Garnish: nutmeg, freshly grated

Steps

  1. Add the rum, lime juice, rich simple syrup and bitters into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.

  2. Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice.

  3. Garnish with a lime wheel and a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg.
