When Father’s Day rolls around this weekend, you’ll want to show Dad how much he means by doing something special for him. Whether it’s a delicious breakfast, dinner with the family or even a special cocktail ~ do something he will really appreciate!
This year, make Dad (or Grandfather, Uncle, Step-Dad) feel like they are number one by mixing up a savory cocktail. Take a look >>>>>>>>>>>>
- ¾ oz FINLANDIA® Grapefruit Vodka
- KORBEL® California Champagne
- 3 oz lemon sorbet
- Lemon peel
Build in flute glass and stir. Garnish with a lemon peel
- 1 sugar cube
- 2 dashes Angastora bitters
- Orange slice
- Brandied cherry
- 2 oz Hillrock Solera Bourbon
Place sugar cube in an empty rocks glass and dash the bitters directly over sugar cube, add an orange slice and cherry (in this case a brandied cherry) muddle together, pour the bourbon into the glass, add ice, give ingredients a cursory stir and serve.
- 1½ parts D’USSÉ® VSOP Cognac
- 1 part triple sec
- ¾ part freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ¼ part sugar
SERVE: Shake and strain into a sugar-rimmed coupe glass.
GARNISH: Lemon peel
TIP: To create a unique take on the Sidecar, substitute the triple sec with ¾ part of Giffard Framboise to create the D’USSÉ® Framboise Sidecar
