Four readers love this post.
When you think tequila you think Margaritas, shots, or never again! Well then, I have the coolest premium and AFFORDABLE tequila to tell you about that will make the haters change their mind!
VIVA XXXII Tequila is perfect for sipping and crafting quality cocktails. Plus who can deny their eye popping bottle! I received a bottle of the Joven ($40) and I wanted to make something that wasn’t a Margarita — I love
VIVA XXXII not only separates itself from the pack with taste and price point, but with its philanthropy. The brand’s mascot, Phil, is featured on the side of the bottle, representing the 10% of net proceeds donated to animal abuse prevention. VIVA XXXII supports organizations like SPCALA, ASPCA, and START, regularly donating to animal welfare charities that make a difference.
Plus this is Phil… Their mascot. He’s on the side of the bottle. I couldn’t resist taking a pic of it! Okay, let’s get to cocktail talk! I adapted the epicurious paloma for this one.
Viva XXXII Tequila Paloma
2 oz Viva XXXII Tequila
2 oz Freshly Squeezed Grapefruit
0.5 oz Lime Juice
1 teaspoon of sugar
Top with club soda
First, squeeze the Grapefruit in a container. Then tip the glass in the juice and salt the rim. Build the ingredients in glass and mix. Garnish with grapefruit.
If you are a marg fan, this is a refreshing change. Cheers to the end of the summer!
