To celebrate the start of cooler weather and prime whiskey season, Heaven’s Door Whiskey teamed up with popular spirits mixologists & influencers to create their own recipe using the brand’s core expressions: Tennessee Straight Bourbon, Double Barrel or Straight Rye. This is the perfect time to switch it up from a neat pour with these unique takes:

  • 2 parts Heaven’s Door Straight Rye Whiskey
  • 1 tsp banana simple syrup
  • 2 dashes Blackstrap bitters
  • 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
  • Absinthe rinse

Preparation: Using an atomizer, coat the inside of a rocks glass with absinthe & set aside. Combine whiskey, syrup & bitters in a mixing vessel & stir with ice until chilled. Strain into absinthe rinsed the glass. Take a small slice of banana & skewer on a cocktail pick. Cover with raw sugar & brûlée with a culinary torch until caramelized, then serve on the rim of the finished cocktail.

  • 45ml Heaven’s Door Tennessee Straight Bourbon
  • 20ml lemon juice
  • 20ml simple syrup
  • 6-8 mint leaves

Preparation: Muddle lemon juice, some mint and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add Heaven’s Door whiskey and ice, shake well. Pour into a rocks glass over mint and ice cubes. Top with remaining mint.
