Yesterday we shared with you the best juleps around town, but don’t forget, Sunday is all about tequila. We've scoured the city looking for the best tequila concoctions, so celebrate Cinco de Mayo with these cocktails in hand:

At Café Tallulah, a newer French bistro on the Upper West Side, master mixologist Dushan Zaric of Employees Only and Macao Trading Company has created the perfect Cinco de Mayo tequila-based cocktail, The Maximilian (pictured left). The combination of absinthe bitters with the citrus and egg whites are sure to awaken and excite your senses

THE LCL: Bar & Kitchen is embracing Cinco de Mayo by introducing a nontraditional spin on classic celebratory libations. The venue will serve Smoke & Heat – its signature Mezcal take on the margarita (center picture). This combination highlights the nuanced smokiness of tequila’s older cousin and fuses it with the acidity of pineapple and lime juices to produce the most sensational experience. In addition, they’ll be featuring rare and extraordinary tequilas in their 1, 2, 3 Organic Tequila Flight (1 ounce Blanco, 1 ounce Reposado and 1 ounce Anejo), which incorporates sustainable, 100% certified organic tequila grown on ancient volcanic soils that once sustained the Aztecs.
